I mean can you imagine wearing glass slippers? Let’s not even get into how fucking uncomfortable. I’d be terrified to take even a step myself, but look at those things. Those bows would cut you to ribbons. SO IMPRACTICAL.
Yet of course all Usagi can see is “pretty shoes, handsome prince” and it’s ALL SHE WANTS.
I like how Usagi keeps relating her relationship to Mamoru with fairy tales (her crayon stories, she’s done Snow White at least twice, now Cinderella), when IT REALLY IS LITERALLY A FAIRY TALE ALREADY.
Like somehow even with all that, SHE NEEDS MORE ROMANCE.
I like the idea that while Usagi is this inexhaustible source of love, she also has a bottomless desire for it. Usagi can’t love her people enough, so in return there is no limit to how much love she will happily receive from them. It must be exhausting and frustrating sometimes. Totally worth it, but exhausting and frustrating sometimes all the same.
